About Wild-WestWebs.com

Wild-WestWebs.com was established in 2005 by Kate Szuekelwicz, designer. Having done web design for her own online gift shop from the early days of the .com era, she learned what was required of a web site first-hand as the client. Not only was it important to get the site content updated often and in a timely manner, it was important to make it pleasing to the eye, easy to navigate and it must be FOUND in the search engines and web directories. Several friend and associates began needing web sites and Kate was called to the task.

In 2005, after completing courses specializing in Adobe Software, Graphics and SEO, Wild-WestWebs.com was created and became a Registered Service mark in the State of Kansas. The best part about owning the company was the clientele that Wild-WestWebs came into contact with. We fell into the niche of the Horse Industry and quite frankly, we don't want out. Wild-WestWebs has had a hand in designing graphics and sites for various degrees ranging from small-town breeders to HUGE names in the WPRA and NFR. Rodeo Associations, Event Producers, Pro Rodeo Announcers, Barrel Racers, Team Ropers, Western Pleasure Breeders and some of the top names in the Quarter Horse breeding industry have sought out the services of Wild-WestWebs.

In the span of 7 years, it's been a pleasure to have provided services for names such as: Bobby "Booger" Barter, World Team Roping, World Barrel Racing, Kay Blandford, Jymmy Kay, Tammy Fisher, Kendall Owen, Phil Haugen, Lyndee Stairs, Elite Barrel Racing, Stidham Trailers, Liz Pinkston, Garrett Quarter Horses, Jud Little Ranch, Oxy-Gen, MegaCabLongBed, PowerPlayKC, Stuart Law, Paprota Law, Cherry Creek Arena, Missouri NBHA State Site, Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors, WestPlex Radio, and so many more.

We've been privileged to touch these icons in the Equine and Corporate Industries.

In 2009, Wild-WestWebs.com became more proactive in the SEO and Social Media processes. We've learned how to assist our clients in getting a better Internet presence by utilizing the evolution of Facebook and Google. We pride ourselves in being able to help our clients sites index well in the search engines and directories quickly and for their specific "keywords" and audience.

The Faces behind Wild-WestWebs.com

Kate Szukelewicz, Owner, Designer

Kate is your typical freelance artist, always involved in creating something using assorted media to include paint, pastels, watercolor, jewels/stones, and of course, the computer. Her favorite software would be Adobe Fireworks. She "lives and breathes" Dreamweaver and enjoys learning about Social Media. She continues her education as often as possible and is always looking for the newest tips and tricks to share with her clients on how to improve their internet presence.

She has a large family to include her husband (and dear friend), 4 children, 2 step-daughters and 2 new grand-daughters.

Kate has always had a heart for horses. From the first pony ride in Kentucky at the young age of 4, she's ridden horses. Days after school were spent on horseback, in the woods or on the trails even though she did not come from a family of ranchers, farmers, or even country folk. Her dream for much of her youth was "to ride in the American Royal someday". Life changes drew her away from horses for almost 15 years. When she did return to the horse lifestyle, it was breeding and raising Tennessee Walking Horses. Trail riding with friends and family seemed to be all that mattered. That all changed in 2009. Having worked for World Barrel Racing and Barrel Racing Buzz ( since 2006) and becoming fast friends with Sheridan Cummings, Kate realized she'd not yet "cowgirled up" and reached her goal from childhood. She had never gotten to ride in the "American Royal" and well, riding a Tennessee Walker on trails wasn't going to get her there either. A new item was placed on the "bucket list", she wanted to become a barrel racer. A Walking horse was sold, a barrel horse was purchased and many hours of coaching via phone, video and long-distance calls to Texas ensued. On November 6, 2009, Kate and Lena realized this dream when they ran in the American Royal Barrel Race.

Several years and horses later, Kate continues to barrel race in local jackpots, NBHA shows, and at District Wide and Big Shows as far as Waco, Texas. She's also become a co-producer for BBR, WPRA and IRA sanctioned shows and jackpots at Lone Wolf Arena. You won't find a happier person than one that gets to work in and with the Industry and people that they admire and love. Kate is that person.

Being a horse lover and now a competitive barrel racer, gives her the edge over other web designers and Internet specialists who've never ventured past their desk into a dirt-filled arena and spent the hours of hard work and determination, guts and grit to achieve their goals. That same grit and determination is spent on your site design and your graphics. That's why it's " Wild-WestWebs".
